This bike started out as a low mileage 1980 Xs650. The mileage was about 5,000 when the bike was taken apart and I've put maybe 20 miles in test rides on it.I built the bike in the style of a BMX bicycle, so its very minimal and clean. Its light, nimble and runs & rides well through all RPM ranges. The bike has 19" wheels on the front and rear, flat tracker style. I had a 32 tooth rear sprocket made by Rebel Gears to make it a little more freeway friendly.This is obviously a one of a kind bike- you won't see another one parked next to you at your favorite hang out, that's for sure.Currently, the bike is kick only, but I'll include the starter solenoid & relay if you decide to run a larger battery & go with electric start.The bike needs a tail light. I had just never found the "right" style, and I've moved onto other projects. The tank needs two bolts to secure it to the frame.Also, I will include the rear fender. Its finished and ready for you to mount. (see pic).The bike has new trials tires, Uni Pod air filters, chain, rear sprocket, rear rotor, peanut tank, petcock, headlights and all wiring. The frame has stock geometry, but I had the upper frame rails (beneath the seat) flipped to give it some character and provide a cleaner spot for the solo seat. The foot pegs are BMX pedals that still spin. The bike's front end is stock, but lowered about an inch or so. The stock key ignition is still in use. The rear brake is for a Harley Softail, as is the rotor. The front brake is stock Yamaha.The carbs have been gone through and they are jetted properly for the Uni pods and short pipes. The bike runs and rides well.I have a clear title, as well.The bike was just finished in August. As with any motorcycle, be sure to go through and double check all fasteners for safety's sake. I've ridden the bike and trust it, but its never a bad idea no matter what you buy-even new!I really like this bike, but hubby says I have too many!If you're local, I'm willing to trade for a 4wd 4 wheeler or Skidoo Freestyle.
