We recently acquired this beautiful 1969 Roadrunner from a friend who used to work for us as a mechanic-restorer-technician-installer who decided to go off on his own a few years ago and do his own thing. All good and I can't blame him! We remain friends to this day, and he still helps out around here from time to time with our overload. Anyway, he bought this car from some Good Ole' Boys down south last year. He said that they restored it sometime ago and by the looks of things, did a nice job but.... it was still in need a few miscellaneous items and repairs to make it really nice!! CHECK IT OUT!! First of all, this is a real "RM21" Roadrunner that had the "A12" lift off hood added. The body is very straight, solid and clean including the floors, trunk and frame and the "Vitamin-C" paint is very nice with a deep luster and show-car shine. This car is a driver not a 100-point show-piece so you will find a few blemishes here and there but overall, she is VERY-VERY NICE!! It also has very nice chrome, trim, weatherstripping and glass too. The black bucket seat w/ factory console and shifter also looks to have been restored and is in very nice condition. Power comes from a 440c.i. - 4bbl. engine that we were told, was rebuilt during the restoration process. Unfortunately, I have no documentation to back it up so all i can say for sure is that it runs strong and sounds awesome! It is backed up by a crisp shifting "727" Torq-Flight automatic transmission and an original sure grip posi rear w/3:23 gears. Other features include power steering, power brakes, headers with Flowmaster dual exhaust 15" steel wheels wrapped in redline radial tires and lots-lots more! This Roadrunner has that A12 killer look but she also runs, rides and drives really nice too!! NO DISAPPOINTMENTS!!
