Here's a mega clean 2 door 1959 Chevrolet Belair that has been transformed into a one of a kind hot rod that can haul the family, and still turn heads anywhere you take it. This is a super straight solid car that has been built to perform as good as it looks.Powering this beauty is a fresh mildly built and detailed 350ci engine backed by a fresh th350 transmission the combo has aprox. 1400 miles and everything was replaced with new parts that go with the theme of the car. The exhaust is made of new Headman headers leading into the new 2 1/2" pipe with Flowmaster mufflers that give it the true sound of the 60's and 70's that we all crave. We have also added a power 4 wheel Wilwood disc brake kit and power steering that gives this classic the drivability and stopping power well beyond its time. The suspension is a brand new all of the wear parts in the front have been replaced, has new drop shocks and is ridding on a 7 switch air ride setup with dual 580 compressors and 2600lb Dominator bags. The install is very clean and neatly tucked away in the freshly carpeted trunk. The car has been aligned and tracks straight down the highway at speeds in excess of 65 mph. The car rides on new Billet Specialties wheels 18x8 fronts and 20x10 rears with brand new matching Otsu rubber. The interior of the car is also all new and finished in a slick heavy grade red vinyl with new black carpet and headliner. A modern stereo was also added under the dash so that when/if you get tired of the beautiful sound of the SBC through the 2 1/2" exhaust you can turn on the sounds of the 70's and cruise in to your next car meet.The exterior of the car again is very straight and solid it is finished in a sinister satin black and looks great from 5-7 feet away, but in order to make this car "perfect" it could use a repaint. This car is straight enough to paint as is in a slick black finish with minimal effort. The chrome on the car all looks good has been polished and not all beat up. Floor/trunk pans are solid (a small spot in the floor has been patched at some point). These cars are getting harder and harder to find especially in the 2 door configuration. This car has been tastefully modified and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. So if your looking for a solid, clean 59 that has had virtually every piece of the car refreshed and is mechanically all new, but still leaves you some room to further enhance and add value to the car that has become one of the hottest commodities in the custom car world....this car is for you.
