Description:
Offering an original rare 1968 Norton 750 Ranger P11A with matching serial numbers. There were only 495 of this particular model produced by Norton-Villers in Manchester, England. This bike was a hybrid of Matchless and Norton parts. As you can see in the photos that the bike is missing several original parts. Here is a list of those parts: gauges, seat, handlebars, stock front fender, chain guard, stock exhaust pipes and silencers and air cleaner. I do have the stock headlight assembly (see photos) and speedometer drive as well as several extra parts. Top end rebuild was completed in August 1972.Here is a list of the new parts: Dunlop tires, gasket kits for the Amal 900 series concentric carbs, ignition points, velocity stacks, fuel petcocks, spark plugs and wires, battery, rear brake shoes and a fresh oil change. The paint is in sad shape from the years of storage and there is some surface rust. Also a previous owner welded the kick-starter to the transmission main shaft (see photo). The Norton has been in storage for 38 years and was just got it running few months ago and it runs like a dream
