In 1971 total Mercury Cougar production numbers amounted to 62,864 vehicles, stark contrast to 1967 numbers of 150,893. Only 1,717 of the 62,864 manufactured would earn XR-7 convertible status. This XR7 has been outfitted with brand new BF Goodrich Radial TAâs 245/70/15 tires and brand new Magnum 500's.
