1963 Triumph TR4 Special For SaleThe car has traveled 7600 miles since all work has been completed.Now being offered for sale for the first time in a long time, here is a 1963 triumph TR4 with a resto modified High-performance set up. Upgrades since are as follows: Our TR4 came equipped with a Ford 302 Cobra crate engine that originally put out 350 HP with performance upgrades added it now puts out 400 HP. Some of these enhancements include a Percision milled 302 roller cam block, micro polished crankshaft, new connecting rods with 190,000 ARP bolts, heavy duty pistons with 9:1 compression, speed pro piston rings, three-piece steel roller style timing chain, hydraulic roller camshaft, True 1:6 ratio magnum roller rockers, 2.02 stainless steel intake valves 1.60 stainless steel exhaust valves, aluminum heads Edlerbrooke performer RPM # 60259, Heavy duty 1.45 diameter valve springs, heavy duty chrome Molly pushrods, chrome or oil pan, cobra aluminum black wrinkled valve covers ,new flywheel and clutch, balanced and blueprinted, high-performance Edelbrock airgap intake manifold, MSD distributor a mission with rev limiter at 6200 RPM, custom-built driveshaft,The transmission is a Borg â Warner T5With a McLeod hydraulic throw out bearing, The driveshaft was custom-made to handle the power and torque, to the best of my knowledge, the rear is a stock 3:73 TR4, Holley electric fuel pump,newer gas tank and sensors, dual polished stainless steel Magnaflow mufflers and pipes, Finished off with a"Be Cool" Hippo aluminum radiator with Thermo controlled 2800 CFM electric fan. On to the suspension and steering components. This is suspension is completely rebuilt including Koni hippo shocks, roadster factory racing coil springs, TRF rebuilt rear lever shocks all new bushings, boots and fittings,new ball joints and tie rod ends. Running on 195/65 tires with 72 spoke stainless wire wheels with 3 Spoke Knockoffs. The wire wheels are dental drive not the normal spline drive giving a much more secure fit for the high torque. The interior has Moss Black premium carpet and floor mats, custom aluminum pedals with Triumph logo, custom-built African Blood Wood dashboard, cream and nickel auto meter gauges, new wiring harness front and rear, all new switches and custom fuse panel. With regard to the body, back when the vehicle was originally refurbished all doors, windows, hood, trunk and trim were removed prior to stripping and painting, No Bondo used! The wheel wells were also stripped to bare metal and painted, a new windshield installed, new chrome on bumpers and over riders,TR4A grill substitutes for Original TR4, The paint color is a 2004 Mercedes black. The seating is from a Miata, our TR four is also equipped with a very nice alpine head unit that you could almost hear over the engine and exhaust LOL.The convertible top is new and was outrageously expensive but does offer a perfect fit. Obviously this car is not for the purest, rather a car for the enthusiast. This TR4 is at home both on the open road as well as on the track.
