1966 Pontiac GTO "Highly Optioned": 389 ci Motor 4 bbl automatic YS Engine Manifest, 335 horse power, 3:23 Rear-end Ratio, Power Steering, Power Brakes. Rally Wheels, Bucket Seats and Console, Soft Ray Glass on All Windows, Custom Air Conditioning, Electric Clock, AM/FM Pushbutton Radio, Rear Seat Speakers A little history from the previous owner of the car. The car spent most of her early life in Connecticut. She then spent many years nestled in a barn in Upstate New York before the previous owner rescued her in 2001 with 106,000 miles. During his ownership he put less than 4,000 miles on her to attend local car shows and occasional joy rides around town. She was also stored in a warm dry garage and never driven in the rain. The car could use 2 new seat covers. Currently the transmission is a TH 400 Pontiac trans, not original Power Glide. (which is not a bias thing because she has a much better transmission now.) The cylinder heads are 1976 400 ci vintage 2. In its early years the car was in a fender bender and a 1967 GTO rear-end panel and trunk were installed. 3. Slight oil leak coming from transmission 4. Intermittent ticking sound coming from left valve cover area Items that were installed/retrofitted within the last 18 months 1. New shock absorbers front rear suspension 2. New PTFE bushes on front suspension 3. 4 wheel disc brake conversion kit include a brake compensator valve 4. New brake booster to match the disc brakes 5. New headers 6. Complete 2 1/2" exhaust system - adds a nicer tone, but not obnoxiously loud 7. New A/C compressor and hoses for R134 retrofit - blows very cold and efficient! 8. Transmission service 9. Tune up
