ALL “Henry steel” 1934 Ford Tudor.The goal was not an over the top vehicle with flames on the sides but quite the opposite, to create an exceptional highway car that could be enjoyed for short as well as long trips and the idea of a chopped top was NEVER considered. The original owner, now up in years, became unable to maintain this beauty so we acquired the car in March.Meticulously cared for while only being driven approximately 4,000 miles in the past 10 years, It is powered by a 5.7 LT-1 Corvette engine with Edelbrock aluminum intake and matching Edelbrock 1406 Performer Series 600 CFM Carburetor with Electric Choke. It has a brand new set of Summit block hugger headers, a Turbo 400 automatic transmission with custom tilt wheel column shifter and brand new leather wrap steering wheel. It also has a high quality aluminum radiator with temperature controlled auxiliary cooling fan. The instrument cluster was showing 19,199 miles when installed in the car and now shows 23,373. All gauges work perfectly including the interior light and windshield wipers.Other features on this dream car include: a recently upgraded ‘82-'88 T-Bird rack and pinion power steering unit (a nice improvement over the Mustang II unit) front disc brakes with a set of ORIGINAL American Racing Torq-Thrust aluminum wheels on the front with new 185/70/14 radial tires. In the rear it has a 9 inch Ford rear end with 8 1/5x15 1 ¼ Positive offset ORIGINAL American Racing Torq-Thrust aluminum wheels with Cooper Cobra 225/70/15 radial rear tires and state of the art fuel tank.A full custom wiring harness with turn signals was installed when originally built, along with a Vintage Air air conditioner that was recently inspected, charged and blows ice cold. Auxiliary door safety locks were added to the color keyed interior which includes full leather seats and matching seat belts. The German square weave carpet was recently ordered to match the color of the dash. At the upholstery shop, the interior was meticulously gone over with several upgrades including new Dennis Carpenter step plates and Bluetooth stereo system including built-in phone charger.In our reconditioning of the car since March, we have been very particular to detail. This car was presented to us as a rare opportunity to acquire a great condition 34 street rod that had been meticulously built but needed a bit of freshening up!
