History: Purchased new in Utah the second owner has it in his private collection, no expense spared, thoroughly sorted and serviced (see documents). Please look through the extended photos and video to see the great condition of this car. Garage kept and clean car fax.Engine & Transmission: Power is delivered by an AMG hand-tuned, supercharged 3.2 liter V6 taken from the Mercedes SLK32 AMG, with a 5 speed automatic transmission. It is believed that Daimler-Chrysler did not want the performance numbers of the Crossfire to appear to be equivalent of the 2004 Mercedes SLK32 AMG, which sports the same engine, when the Mercedes costs several thousand dollars more so they fudged them. The specs for the SRT-6 were actually found to match the 2004 SLK32 AMG at 349 hp and 332 ft-lbs of torque. The engine built in Osnabrueck Germany has the ability to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under 5 seconds. It delivers power whenever you want it. The SRT-6 featured a stiffened suspension and the underside is extremely nice and dry (see photos). The car is in excellent mechanical condition.Body: The body panels are all straight. All glass in great shape. Clean gaps and the cars has never been hit. No rust. Lenses are all clear except front passenger side headlamp cover has small crazing in it (see photo). The owner had the door handles and trim around the windshield repainted as new and new grille installed (part of his attention to detail). Paint and rubber is very nice. SRT-6 fixed rear wing. New 2019 Michelin tires (see date code photo) on designer alloy 19” wheels.Interior: The interior is very clean. All doors are excellent, the headliner is great. The dash is very clean and instruments work as they should. Comes with leather/suede seats with SRT logo embroidered in the headrest. There is a small stitching blemish on the driver seat and crack in plastic bar behind seats. Back and trunk area is extremely nice. Bottom of doors are very clean (see photos). Nice interior.Summary: Anyone that follows these cars knows how special they are. Only in production for two years from 2005-2006 with 4071 cars build worldwide. The car comes from a collector that is keen on making sure his cars are in exceptional working order. There are receipts to show the expense put into this car. This car harks back to the Mercedes 500E time-period when a sheep in wolfs clothing was made…similar approach here. A sporty car turned into a super performer. Car will appreciate as time goes by a true beast.Photos to see the car in detail
