RARE Excellent original 1966 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova #3790721 327 SHORT Block With Recessed Oil pad LAST OWNER BUILD THE ENGINE AND RAN FOR A SHORT TIME AND WANTED A LARGER STROKER MOTOR.BLOCK IS .040 WITH EXCELLENT BORE . GM 3782680 FORGED STEEL CRANKSHAFT IS STD IT NEVE BEEN GROUND.BOTH BLOCK AND CRANSHSAFT HAVE BEEN MAG AND ARE PERFECT.COMES WITH FORGED 040 TRW PISTONS BLOCK HAS NEVER BEEN DECK,CODE IS ZD (see picture) see THIS WILL BOLT IN ANY 1962 TO 1967 NOVA the 3790721 was used for Chevy II 327 applications until the 362 block came along in fall of 1965. Even some very early 1966 L79s had 721 blocks. Chevrolet built 20,986 Nova SS cars for the 1966 model year. 4,675 of them were six cylinders, there were 16,311 V8s made with 3,547 of them being the L79 option.
