Description:
1974 rubber bumper Spitfire. Engine changed to 1300 From a Toledo that had a Stromberg carburetor. Changed over to dual SU carburetors. Car runs strong. Rear spring was re set to proper position. New shocks a few years ago. New tires a few years ago. Wooden dash was replaced with good new wood. Brakes were new as well a few years ago. Paint job as I purchase not the best but good for a driver. Has electric fuel pump. Comes with original boot and tonneau covers. Soft top was replaced before car was purchased but is in good shape. Seats covers fair but will need re-covering at some point. Carpet is fair to poor. No radio but has 2 speakers mounted in the rear side walls behind the front seats. No rust or major body damage. Has some minor dents and dings and nicks in paint. Door locks in poor condition and will need replacement at some point. Selling as purchase 1974.5 MGB owned by one person for 42 years. Car was always garaged and has only 56000 miles on the speedometer. Was not looking to buy a car but the owner showed up at our local car club to sell. More pictures upon reguest.
