Description:
1963 Ford Falcon Restomod. The engine,transmission and driveshaft are from a totaled 2014 Mustang GT. Rearend is From a 2001 Ford Explorer. It has 3.55 Gears with a locker unit. Axels are 31 spline Greg Moser with C-Clips. The rear end has been narrowed by 10 inches. The rims are from Coyes and measure 18X7 in front and 20x10 rear. Rear tubs have been increased 6 inches inboard. Rear half has a full frame of 2x3 11ga. square tube. Rear suspension is Ride Tech 4 link with a panhard bar and QA1 coil over shocks. Front suspension is Heidts Mustang II with tubular upper and lower a-arms, power steering and front disc brakes, Rear brakes are also disc. All rotors are ball milled and drilled. Master cylinders are from Wilwood and are located under the dash facing the driver. Steering column is Flaming River with tilt, four way flashers and GM style turn signal switch.Gauges are Auto Meter Phantom, speed, tach,oil,volt, fuel and temp. Heat and air is from Vintage Air and is a GenV unit. Power steering pump assy. is also Vintage air Front Runner system. Radiator is largest that could fit in the opening and has two fans that produce 7300 CFM at 80 amps. There are no overheating problems. Headers are custom built with inch and a half primaries and three and a half inch collectors. Exhaust is two and a half inch pipes with Hush Master mufflers.
