HERE FOR SALE IS A VERY NICE UNMOLESTED 1953 STUDEBAKER COMMANDER STARLINER 2 DOOR COUPE. THIS IS A VERY RARE AND HARD TO FIND CLASSIC STUDEBAKER. THE BODY ON THE CAR IS IN EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION AND HAS OBVIOUSLY HAD A VERY NICE PROFESSIONAL PAINT JOB IN THE LAST FEW YEARS. IT IS FINISHED IN A DARK GREEN WITH TAN INTERIOR AND LOOKS VERY NICE TOGETHER. THE CAR RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL CHROME AND STAINLESS TRIM, THE GLASS IS ALL THERE AND ALSO IN GREAT CONDITION. CHROME ON THE BUMPERS LOOKS TO BE ORIGINAL AND THEY COULD PROBABLY STAND TO BE RE CHROMED IF YOU WERE GOING TO MAKE THIS INTO A SHOW CAR. THE INTERIOR ALL LOOK TO BE ORIGINAL THE SEATS ARE IN GREAT SHAPE AND THE DASH ALSO LOOKS GREAT THE CARPET LOOKS TO BE ORIGINAL AND I WOULD PERSONALLY KEEP IT ORIGINAL BUT HAVE HAD A QUOTE TO REPLACE ALL OF THE CARPET FOR 550.00THE CAR STARTS RIGHT UP AND RUNS FINE. I HAVE NOT DRIVEN THE CAR TOO MUCH I DROVE IT AROUND THE GOLF COURSE WHERE WE TOOK THE PICTURES AT A CONCOURSE EVENT ON THE CALIFORNIA COAST.. I HAVE ALSO DRIVEN AROUND TOWN A BIT BUT HAVE NOT BEEN ON THE HIGHWAY WITH IT. THE BRAKES WORK GREAT THE STEERING IS GOOD THE ACCELERATIONS IS GOOD AND TRANSMISSION SHIFTS AS IT SHOULD.THIS IS NOT A RESTORED VEHICLE THIS IS A TRUE UNRESTORED 1953 WITH EVERYTHING THERE IT DOES HAVE A BRAND NEW SET OF FIRESTONE WIDE WHITEWALL TIRES AND NEW EXTERIOR PAINT BUT OTHER THAN THAT IT APPEARS TO BE ALL ORIGINAL.
