This restored D200 4x4 CAMPER SPECIAL sweptline is painted in base clear color" BLACK JADE" . It has three coats of base and 3 coats of clear over a rust free body. The original color was red . Sanding the body was easy because it is so straight. The factory red was used as a base for the new paint because it survived 55 years without cracks or peeling.Doors and bed were removed for paint as well as the windshield and back glass . It's a VERY nice professional paint job. Let's go over what it really is:The D 200 is on a galvanized frame. It sports a 440 cubic inch , 4 barrel, 727 torqueflite transmission with a stock 205 TC. the truck has front power disc brakes and rear drums with very good power steering. We put custom 20x9 black faux bead lockers with TOYO MT tires (60% tread) and it rides awesome.Of course there's a hundred things we could customize but really like it the way it is. The bed was raptor lined over rust free metal because it's been used as a truck. The stock 19 gallon tank has no rust and has been flushed with new fuel filters. The gauges all work and the wiring is good throughout. We installed a new Kenwood blu tooth stereo with hands free mic. The front end has a custom pusher bumper, load lights, led yellow turn and fog lights all around the 13000 lb. wireless remote winch with synthetic rope. As you can see from the pictures there are a couple things we will install prior to shipping. They are: new door key locks with new keys and a horn button( if we ever find a good one. The stock steering wheel is in decent shape.We installed a new speedo cable but for some reason the speedo quit on the drive out. We'll need to check that out.
