This car is a rust free , accident free Avanti and spent its life in desert California.The car came with PS,PDB,PW,A/C , Posit-raction rear, tilt wheel, cruise control, it works but the vacuum can was removed in order to install the new manifold, easy 1 bolt installation., headliner is in very good condition, the carpets are in very good condition, all the glass is crack and chip free. New front windshield with new rubber gasket.Frames are rock solid, the hogs are rock solid,the rear cross member is rust free and solid. Never been in an accident, the body is straight. Fresh paint job with all the correct materials.It has the OEM 400 CI sbc engine which runs strong, a brand new 2004R transmission and torque converter, brand new Edelbrock intake manifold and 1406 4 bbl carb, new Bosch alternator, Corvette valve covers, new 3 row radiator, reconditioned distributor with new cap, coil, rotor, module and wires, new dual exhausts, rebuilt heater box with new core, heater control valve and motor, new drivers side PW motor, new satellite radio , new rag joint, all new PS assembly (new control valve, all the hoses and ram cylinder.) from Jon Myers Fairborn Studebaker, brand new MOMO steering wheel, all new SW instruments ( amp gauge was changed to volts for safety reasons) correct NOS Avanti shifter assembly, rods, linkage and lens. The passenger side of the hood has spidering from a fool mechanic who slammed the hood shut .comes with the 15" aluminum rims pictured, the tires have been on the car since at least 2005 show some wear but are driveable . I was going to install 215/R75 15". I would recommend you replace the tires.Everything works as it should, the only things that aren't is the rear defroster ( wires are broken off in the rear ) and the drivers door power lock, the car came from the factory with aux driving lights , the PO said his with smashed them on a parking bumper and removed them. All the wiring is there for an easy installationThe PO tried to fix the OEM A/C by removing the entire OEM system and in the process he cut out the console side panels and front because he said he couldn't get the evaporator out without removing them, he never finished the job. the two side panels come with the car, the rest of the parts needed to go back to the original A/C can be purchased from from Dan Booth at Nostalgic Motor Cars. I installed a new Nostalgic A/C kit, the A/C blows ice cold.The car was stored but not covered, the seats panel insert were sunbaked threadbare , he couldnt find the matching materials to repair the inserts so he covered the front/rear inserts with color matching padded covers, they are lightly glued in place and can be easily removed to repair the panels, door panels are in very good condition, the dash had a few small cracks which he covered with a color matching dash pad. , Brand new Turner disc brake conversion kit, new master brake cylinder and power booster. The odometer shows 34873 but after all these years who knows.The car starts, runs and drives very well, you can drive the car anywhere.
