Here we go then, selling my 1098cc 1970 Traveller: Bought with every intention of restoring but realistically I'm just too busy with work and other projects to get it done so I'm going to let it go. The car runs and drives but is some way from being able to pass an mot, although it is obviously mot and tax exempt. It will need some welding and wood repairs and bears the (lovely) patina of a 53 year old car and one that sat unused for 7 years before I bought it last year. When I got it I immediately rebuilt the carb, replaced both battery and fuel pump, and it fired up almost straight away! See the attached video of it's first drive! Encouraged by that I purchased new tyres, new headlights, all new brake cylinders and shoes and a bunch of other new parts with the intention of having it on the road as soon as I could but then the project got sidelined due to racing commitments and it has sat in the corner of our workshop ever since. Car is located in Kirton in Lindsey, North Lincolnshire mid way between Lincoln and Sparthorpe. I'd highly recommend coming to see it in the flesh. I have a 2 post lift so a potential buyer can see what it's like underneath. It will need some welding and localised wood repairs to be useable. I can help with delivery if required.
