Very rare Triumph Spitfire MK2 1967. This is one of the last mk2s with the FC86 VIN. March 67. It's the flyoff handbrake model. The original pretty shape and very few left, rising in price, ( there is an immaculate one on e Bay for £24k) This is an opportunity to get in at the bottom end if you can do the work yourself. I did buy it to restore but forgetting how small they are, and being 6'4 can't get in, let alone out. A previous owner bare metalled it but became Ill, so it was left to surface rust. In one way it helps as you can see what areas need attention and 4 or 5 days with a rotary wire brush and DA sander, then a coat of Fertan , followed by a couple of thick prime coats would see it 100% better. It looks complete and the engine turns, there are boxes of bits in the boot, bumpers, lights etc, and the screen is in the back. I also have a workshop manual and spares catalogue, and Canley classic spares are 10 miles away, several other companies carry spares, so parts are easy to find. I have the New V5 in my name. I'm informed just the bonnet's fetch a grand. Rolls easily for loading and I'm located in Nuneaton CV10. I have a good friend who delivers for a living if it helps, £1:50pm one way. Car paid for first obviously. Cash on collection please if you fetch it yourself. I am also listing a couple of rolling bodies I bought before I bought this as I was going to make 1 out of the 2, but it will never happen now, my health has also deteriorated and I have enough on. I'm still listed as business but did kitchens, these are my private items, no returns, it's a car needing full restoration. Thanks for looking. Still available at ListedBuy!
