Hi, this is quite probably the best Fox Mustang non-sunroof hatch shell you'll find in the UK. It's a 1983 GT that I got as a bare shell on wheels a number of years ago. I had it media blasted (finding absolutely zero rust) and etch-primed the same day. The following day I rattle-canned over the primer, just to seal it. The only faults I found on the body were some splits around one of the driver's seat bolt holes, so I cut it out and replaced it with a reinforced section from a later car, and that the core support under the radiator has had a light knock, nothing serious. I intended to build a full resto-mod, using everything from a rotted-out 1990 LX V8. I had the '90 front subframe blasted, painted and fitted, and painted the underside and inside with chassis black. All box sections have been phosphate treated and Waxoyled, along with under the arches etc. It has BMR heavy-duty subframe connectors fitted (that tie into the seat mounts) and UMI rear suspension mount reinforcements. It also has stainless steel brake and fuel pipes fitted. The next stage should have been paint, and this shell is so good it deserves a proper paint job, but I never managed to get enough money together, so it's just sat in my garage gathering dust and junk ever since. It needs someone who can finish it and enjoy it. The price is for the shell on stock factory front suspension and PAS steering rack, with some random rolling-about wheels; the buyer can also have his/her pick of the body panels, interior, steering column, brake servo/master etc etc. Panels include a mint bare tailgate plus a rotten one complete with glass, spoiler etc; a pair of scabby elec window doors plus lower skin repair sections; a pair of front wings that'll live again with a bit of work; an aero LX nosecone and bonnet; an LX rear bumper; rear quarter windows in typical condition; a full grey cloth LX interior and dash; non-sunroof headliner; full wiring loom from a '90 V8; plus loads of other.
